Abstract: Mencius’s good nature is that it is good nature rather than good nature. Mencius said that the nature of goodness is a common subject in the history of Chinese thinking, and has had a profound impact on the Chinese people’s civilized mind. The statement about good nature in Mencius can be basically divided into two categories. If it is directly pointed out that a person’s nature is good, then this can only make others understand that a person’s nature is a humane claim. If this claim lacks detailed evidence, it can only be a personal sense of exposure, or even a non-sensory disconnection.
If it is a positive and negative case about good nature, there are still the following problems.
First, it is impossible to come up with a result. If a case of good deeds can show the humanity good, then a case of bad deeds can show the humanity evil. This will turn into a human being that is good and evil, or may be good or evil, which is contrary to the widespread fate of human beings.
Secondly, the reverse result is the cause. To understand the proof method of Mencius’ nature goodness, we need to clarify the following three issues in succession. First, understanding of nature; second, understanding of goodness; third, reporting on goodness.
1. Understanding of nature
Before evaluating the good nature, you need to clarify the correct meaning of good nature. From the perspective of various trends in the academic world today, nature can have an understanding of the essence or a understanding of direction; goodness can have an understanding of dynamic theory or a understanding of the use of results. We combine the original intention and nature with nature from the perspective of the original intention and nature. According to the following interpretation of the two aspects of nature, we can draw the two relationships between original intention and nature. First, nature is the essence, and the original intention and conscience are the true expression of nature; second, the mind is the essence, and nature is the true expression of nature, and conscience are the true expression of nature. In fact, whether it is a mental or mental use, although it is less irreversible in the understanding of the mind and nature, it has an internal personality in the thinking level, that is, the separation between the natural and the reason. From the perspective of the nature of the mind, nature is the same, which refers to the process of change, so it can be said to be good; from the perspective of the nature of the mind, nature is the reason, which refers to the constant body, so it can be said to be good. The literature on good nature in Mencius is mostly explained in examples. The specific examples are not abstract theoretical performances, but experiences in time and space, so they are all expressed in a natural way.
